History Publishing Company to Recharge

History Publishing Company will be charging up its energy level to recapture the amps that brought it eight national awards and a Barnes and Noble Best Seller in its first six years of operation. Part of the re-energizing force will be the return of the company’s founder Don Bracken to a full time presence
After recovering fully from a lengthy illness, Bracken will be returning to a full time capacity at his publishing company in Palisades, NY. He previously functioned in several capacities including as content and line editor. His editing work in the start-up years had been star reviewed in both Publishers Weekly and Library Journal. Custer Survivor by John Koster and Broken Bodies, Shattered Minds by Best Selling author Michael Glasser were two titles that had received the coveted designations
Bracken was unable to continue in that capacity when stricken with illness for three years. Much of the following work was outsourced for those years; a practice which Bracken says will be continued in the future only with the greatest specificity. “History Publishing Company has much to do in the future,” he says,” We have some major announcements to make and I expect we will resume the high energy stride to which we had previously become accustomed.”
