Ron Glasser and the National Veterans Foundation
June 29, 2011 — Print this Page
The concussive after-effects of IED blasts in Afghanistan and Iraq are far reaching.Tests indicate that veterans subjected to repeated blasts sometimes have erratic and illegal post-service behavior.
In order to bring a clear understanding to the courts and the legal system of the nature of concussive after-affects suffered by our soldiers, the National Veterans Foundation has authorized the publication of a book as an advisory to attorneys, the Attorney’s Guide to Defending Veterans in Criminal Court. Dr. Ron Glasser author of Broken Bodies/Shattered Minds has agreed to write the chapter on traumatic brain injuries for the Foundation’s Guide. The NVF will be giving a copy to every trial lawyer in the United States.
