Veteran's Day Virtual Telethon

US Navy veteran John Quinn has been invited to be on the Veteran’s Day Virtual Telethon on November 11th to discuss his book Someone Like Me: An Unlikely Story of Challenge and Triumph Over Cerebral Palsy. John Quinn had a distinguished 20 year naval career rising to the second highest enlisted rank, senior chief petty officer, and received numerous citations along the way.He is scheduled to appear for a webcam interview to discuss how he was able to get in the US Navy with cerebral palsy, function above the norm, and keep his CP a secret from medical authorities. He is scheduled to appear for a 30 minute webcam interview shortly after opening day ceremonies at 11AM EST.
Following John Quinn’s interview, Don Bracken, Publisher of History Publishing Company, and a US Army Cold War veteran, will appear on a 30 minute webcam interview to discuss writing for veterans - how to put a story on paper,what makes a good story, how to hold the reader’s attention, and how to get a book published. He will be on Veteran’s Day, Nov 11th, from 11:30 am - noon EST.
