Peter E. Meltzer

When not studying the American Presidents, Peter E. Meltzer is a practicing attorney in Philadelphia and a former Professor of Law at Rutgers University Law School. He specializes in banking law, debtor-creditor relations, and real estate. He has had numerous articles published in various national legal periodicals. He is on the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America and he was named a Pennsylvania Superlawyer in 2011 and 2012.

Meltzer is also the author of two non-legal books: The Thinkers Thesaurus: Sophisticated Synonyms for Basic Words (2nd ed.), published by Norton in 2010, which was the best-selling thesaurus in the United States for over 50 weeks. So You Think You Know Baseball: A Fan’s Guide to the Rules, will be published by Norton in 2013.
